Case: 2 - Innovative Parking Solutions at Stella Residency, Vikhroli, Mumbai

Aug 07th 2024

Stella Residency, a prestigious residential project by Vaibhav Laxmi Builders and Developers, is located in the bustling area of Vikhroli, Mumbai. With its 14 floors and a growing population, the complex faced significant challenges related to parking. This case study explains how Park Layer's innovative Vertical Rotary Parking (VRP) system transformed the parking landscape of Stella Residency, accommodating the needs of residents while maximizing space efficiency.

Challenges:

  • Stella Residency was initially designed to accommodate maximum cars in its limited parking area which lead to congestion among residents. As the number of vehicles grew, the insufficiency of parking spaces became increasingly noticeable and the residents faced difficulty.
  • Limited parking availability leading to street parking.
  • Residents couldn't retrieve the cars in convenient space.
  • Reversing and parking the cars became a challenging one.
  • Parking cars outside the residency led to safety concerns for residents.
  • The challenge was to devise a parking solution that would not only address these issues but also fit within the constraints of the existing building.
